A+ ~~ Monica was great to work with, and we loved how our flowers turned out. She came to the church to deliver the bouquets, and pinned the flowers on all the guys. She also set up the candles and greens on all the tables as the Hobbs Building. She is a lot of fun to work with.
From: KS*sparkler*
I live OOT and never got to meet with Monica, but through the pictures I sent her, she created gorgeous bouquet, bouts, corsages, centerpieces, and an arrangement which were even prettier than I imagined. She set everything up at the reception hall perfectly and delivered the bouts/bouquets to us at the hotel. She even stopped by the hall on Sunday to pick up the vases we rented from her. I'd highly recommend Monica.
From: kujess
B ~~ Monica has been great to work with and had a lot of great ideas. She was very friendly at our meeting and got an estimate to us quickly. Comparatively, her prices are very reasonable. On the wedding day, a few things (color-wise) were not exactly what I wanted, and some of the flowers in my bouquet were a little wilted. But overall, everything was lovely.
From: LoLo2006
A ~~ Monica put up with me changing the details of the flowers about a million times, so just for that alone, I have to give her credit!! The flowers ended up being absolutely beautiful!! I wish I could have kept them forever!! My only complaint was that the guys flowers didn't appear to be dyed as we had discussed, and some of the corsages weren't wrist ones as I had requested. All in all though, they were beautiful and I can't wait to see them in the photos! She also did a great job of setting up the centerpieces at the Madrid, etc. Would highly recommend working with Monica.

A+++++ ~~ I loved this vendor! My flowers were beautiful, exactly what I wanted. I was very specific with Monica and she did everything perfectly. She told me that my bouquet was one of the favorite ones she had designed in 10 years. I added some amaranthus (green hangy-downy things) at the last minute to my bouquet and I think that added so much. Affordable, friendly, full of ideas and personality. I highly recommend!

A ~~ I wasn't terribly picky about the flowers and the florist was one of the last vendors I chose. Artistic Flowers seemed to be quite a bit less expensive than some of the other florists and I was very happy with the work. I also enjoyed talking to Don whenever I called -- he is a very sweet man.
From: StephanieandStefan
A+ ~~ These men are fantastic! They worked within our budget and brought original ideas to the table. They arrived early and had to ad lib (is that the right word?) another arrangement when Longview decided to ad another table to the reception tent without notifying the florist or me.
From: wilsontobe
A ~~ I had no idea and didn’t really care what kind of flowers were used, I just told Don at Artistic Flowers the colors and the look I wanted. We got my bouquet, 3 BMs bouquets, 2 large centerpieces at the church, as well as caged flowers for the candelabras, and all the boutonnieres for GM, ushers, DH, and family for $600. I LOVED the flowers – they were so beautiful!

A ~~ I loved my flowers. Absolutely loved them. Jennifer took a lot of time before the wedding to make sure she understood what I wanted and how to make that a reality. I didn't want anything "normal" including things like roses and she made sure to accommodate my wishes. When my bouquet arrived to the church, it was really more than I thought I could handle (in terms of size). Jennifer came to make it a bit smaller and I couldn't have been happier. The bridesmaid bouquets and alter arrangements were just stunning as well.

A+++++ ~~ I met with Lynn 3 times. And I basically just told her what I envisioned, and that if she wanted to add or remove anything to go ahead. She thought of a tulip Garden to put in front of the fireplace at the Ranch. I was a little hesitant, but I went with it and trusted her. I also had pew bows with tulips I was trying to make, and wasn't doing a good job of it. Monday before the wedding I took the bows and tulips to her, and she assembled them for me, free of charge, and tied them to the chairs. Our bouquets were absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The Bouts were gorgeous, and the tulip garden….my Favorite part. There are some pics of it in the background of our pictures, and it was AWESOME. Lynn is FABULOUS. Thank you Tararae82 for Referring her!
From: sarah
A+ ~~ Lynn was great to work with!! The flowers were gorgeous. Lynn also rents vases out. I rented my centerpieces from her. Great idea for those of you on a budget
From: TaraRae82
I would definitely recommend Lynn! She designed what I wanted perfectly. All of my ideas came from BrandonsBride and she duplicated amazingly! The only complaints I have is that for a little while she was hard to get ahold of and the ribbons she used on the corsages didn’t match the flowers at all. I had red tulips and red tulips sometimes end up with a magenta tint. Well, she put a true red ribbon around the stems of these “magenta” tulips. Not a big deal in the end but I wish she’d waited to match the ribbon for when she got the actual flowers. She was priced very reasonably and I’d use her again if I had to do it all over again!

A ~~ At first I was hestitant about hiring a florist who worked out of her home, but I am so glad I did. Michelle was easy to work with and always returned my e-mails in a prompt manner. The bouquets looked exactly like the photo I showed her and my tall centerpieces were exactly what I wanted. Michelle also hung the paper lanterns at Club 1000, and she did a great job arranging them above the dance floor.
From: emoflamingo
A+ ~~ Michelle got an email with a picture of the boutineers that I wanted and recreated them with no problems. The detail on the bouquets' bottoms were also amazing. I loved the flowers!
From: Mrs.P
A+ ~~ I loved my flowers! I really didn't give Michelle very much input other than that I wanted all white flowers. I gave her a few things I knew I didn't want (calla lilies for example—too many of our friends have used those recently) but left the rest up to her. When she delivered the flowers to the church, they were exactly what I had envisioned. She even stayed around to help the guys pin on boutonnieres before pictures. Her prices were great and the flowers could not have been more beautiful!
From: shonnaluvsjd
I will never be able to say enough good things about Michelle. This was the best money I spent. I went to her with absolutely NO idea what I wanted and no vision. She turned my comments about the feel I wanted for the day into the most stunning wedding flowers I have ever seen. When she delivered the flowers, I literally jumped up and down screaming and hugged her. They were more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. All I wanted was something totally unique...that no one had ever seen before. She more than came through! Literally 50 people told me how beautiful our flowers were. I gave her free reign to use her talent and imagination and she proved to me that she is one of the best in the biz. All at a VERY affordable price! Her blog with pictures of my amazing flowers can be read here...

A+ ~~ Michelle was very professional to work with and had excellent ideas. Our flowers were beautiful and perfect! They lasted through the night and added some beautiful color to our ceremony and reception. I would recommend Michelle, I loved my flowers!
From: violetfemme
A+ ~~ I think some of you used her, but R. Peters recommended her to me. The flowers were beautiful and she is artistic with what she does. One thing I had decided not to do was bouquets for the bridesmaids. I knew at the reception they would put them down and they would be a pretty girl in a black dress all night. I wanted them to have something purple on them all night long so we did a purple wrist corsage with a single flower and little crystals. Not prom like at all! A lot of people questioned me on this but the outcome was awesome and we had tons of compliments about it. It was so unusual! Very pleased.
From: wordtoyourmother
B ~~ I feel bad giving Michelle a B, b/c everyone else seems to love her and she was very nice. I think the problem was that I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on flowers ($400 was it) and I had gotten the impression that Michelle was great with small budgets... but I think my budget was just too small for her. Then again maybe my expectations were unreasonable.

With the help of my bridesmaids and my mom, we did all of the flowers ourselves. This was a huge money saver and completely worth it for me considering all the fun we had doing them!! The flowers arrived by 8:30 am on Thursday and were still gorgeous when we got back from our honeymoon this past Saturday. We had four different color roses, vendela for the bridesmaids, black baccarat for my bouquet, and classy & charlotte for everything else. I ended up using an assortment of the red colors in order to give my bouquet some depth. They ended up looking amazing and everyone was shocked when they heard that we did them ourselves!!

A ~~ Andrea did a fabulous job on my flowers. I only met with her once, took a picture of what I liked, we discussed what I wanted different, and she totally came through. My bouquet was mainly roses in various shades of red, burgundy mini callas, and pepper berry. The other bouquets and bouts were red roses and pepper berry. She also made 2 large altar arrangements. The flowers were gorgeous, and exactly what I wanted, and her prices were reasonable. Her assistant delivered everything to the Hyatt in the morning, and stayed to pin the bouts on for the guys.
From: otis
A+++++++++ ~~ OH. MY. GAWD. Flowers were another thing I was unable to find pictures of "exactly" what I was envisioning. I took Andrea about 50 pictures of different ideas I had and different things I liked and didn't like about each picture. I told her the flowers I loved and the flowers I couldn't stand and the colors scheme I wanted. I was very specific in my demands for sizes, shapes and symmetries of the bouquets, centerpieces and even cake flowers. I guess you could say I was probably a royal PITA. But Andrea never batted an eye, she kept right on smiling and taking notes. AND SHE NAILED IT. She exceeded all of my expectations. I couldn't keep my face out of my bouquet, I bet I smelled it about a million times. I actually carried it all through Wal-Mart the next day and Steve was like, "Eventually you're gonna have to put that thing down". Love Love Love her.
From: ricepatty98
Andrea Deschaine ~~ A+ ~~ I love her! She had the excitement for me and my wedding that I did. I could never find what I was picturing in my head, but she knew and made it happen. I was very happy with the end results! Also, her assistant came and put on the corsages and bouts!
From: Tigersbear07
I adore Andrea. I clicked with her as soon as I met her. My flowers were gorgeous!!!!!!! AND, they lasted for the entire weekend, without water.

The flowers were beautiful! I wasn't very picky about this, just knew that I wanted bright colors and they is what I got. Craig really knows flowers and loves to talk! He was a bit flighty at times, but it worked out fine. Referred to me by my cousin. I waited too long to call about flowers and the other recs from this board were already booked.

D ~~ We got so many recommendations for this lady and went and met with her multiple times. She’s a little…harsh, but I thought I could handle her so we went ahead with it. I took in fabric swatches, multiple photographs, and we went in to look at flower samples the week before the wedding. The only thing we were specific about was the color-if it had to be all roses, so be it, as long as it matched the fabric. The big day, I was so very very disappointed. The bouquets were supposed to be all different shades of reds in different blooms, and ended up with lots of purple and TONS of greenery, when they were supposed to have ZERO greenery. The ribbons used to tie the bouquets were obnoxious, terrible red, and my bouquet of cream roses was already BROWNING around the edges when we arrived at the church 2 hours before the wedding. Also, it was tied with really, really white ribbon. A noticeable difference between the flowers and the ribbon. (I tore the ribbon off the bouquet before I even got dressed. Not exactly the way I hoped to start the big day.) She decorated the candelabras on the pews at the church too and they looked like crap. I can’t give an F because at least something showed up, but it wasn’t worth the hassle. I should have listened to the Mom on this one, who though her attitude was “a bit much”.

I LOVED our flowers. I didn't give her much guidance - no white, no sunflowers, and lots of fall color. She knocked it out of the park! I did take some pictures of things I did & did not like - not too frilly, no big ribbons flouncing about. Somehow she figured out that vision in my head that I couldn't articulate. Love love love her. She is a floral designer for Hallmark, and works out of her home in Lenexa. I also rented our centerpiece candle holders from her. And, for a modest fee she came up that night and packed it all back up so my family didn't have to. Highly recommend.

The Fiddly Fig

used by toddysgirl

From: toddysgirl
C- ~~ I was very disappointed in the Fig. We had been working with Elaina all through the planning and she was great. She was patient with my many changes and kept us updated on the price differences. Three weeks before the wedding she told us she would not be able to do my flowers since she was going to Jamaica for her sons wedding, so Becky, one of the other florists, would be doing my flowers. I didn’t think this would be a problem. Somewhere along the way the communication was mixed up and the bouquets were not what I asked for. I told Elaina I wanted rounded, hand tied bouquets with thick stems. When the florist showed up to the church to deliver them, she didn’t introduce herself (I had never met “Becky”). She started taking the flowers out of the box and I thought they looked pretty- until they were all the way out. She had made mine bigger than I requested, the stem part was way too small and the flowers were too full. The best (worst) part was the flowers were stuck in one of those cone things so it made the flowers flat on one side, I guess so it could be laid down without crushing them. I told her I did not want this, and for the money that was spent on these flowers, I should love them so much I want to marry them! I don’t know if this is Elaina’s fault or “Beckys” fault, but we will definitely be getting a discount. The centerpieces at the reception were awesome though! Half the tables had floating candles and the other half had tall curly willow- no flowers involved. When I walked in the room I was so impressed and glad I stuck with the curly willow idea. “Becky” or whoever set up the centerpieces thought she should express her dislike for the curly willow and said to my grandmother “I hate this look!”. Another strike against The Fig. I thought that was VERY unprofessional of her to give her opinion like that. The Fiddly Fig is way over priced, I would pass on them if I were you….in my non-professional opinion.

Rose Petals

A ~~ The box arrived on time and the rose petals looked and smelled wonderful all through the wedding. Their website says the petals do not need to be refrigerated so long as they are to be used within 72 hours of delivery. We had them delivered on Thursday and simply kept the box in a cool dark place, but b/c our apartment runs somewhat warm we placed the re-freezable bags used in coolers on the box to help keep the petals cool enough.

B+ ~~ I was really excited about working with Rosemary at first. Rosemary is a bit rough around the edges, but I felt like she had some great ideas and was so wonderful in helping me figure out what my vision was for flowers. However, I specifically asked for no stephanotis in my bouquet, and I wanted the bm bouquets to be all jewel tones, with no other colors showing. When our flowers arrived on the day of the wedding I was annoyed to see that my bouquet had stephanotis in it and there was green hydrangea in the bm bouquets. I just chalked it up to her creative license, and the bouquets looked wonderful, I was just annoyed that she didn’t listen to me. The bouquets looked great, and the alter arrangements and tall centerpieces in the ballroom were phenomenal, so overall I think Rosemary did a great job.

A++ ~~ My flowers were absolutely stunning. I was overjoyed when I saw them the day of the wedding. Linda was so helpful in planning- she would make suggestions based on colors, fabrics, what was in season, etc. She even got me my beautiful peonies at no extra charge! My BM bouquets looked so gorgeous with their dresses. I got so many compliments from my guests, saying they were the most beautiful wedding flowers they’d ever seen. And she’s affordable!
From: lawgalkc
A for flowers B for service ~~ I worked mostly with Linda Baca, the owner of A Floral Affair. I met her at a bridal fair and saw some great flowers she had done for a wedding just the week before. I had our initial planning meeting with her in January of 2007 and booked her. I sent my deposit with contract in January but didn't hear back from her nor did she deposit the check. In March or so I called to see what was going on and she said her uncle had died and things had been hectic but she received the check. Another month goes by and still nothing so I call again and she said she never received the contract or check. A few days later she called and said she had found the check. This made me very nervous but after meeting with her again I decided things would be ok. Fast forward to the week before the wedding, she sends me an email that she never received my check for payment of the flowers (I had sent it two weeks earlier). She never found it so I just wrote her another check and gave it to her on the wedding day. Had this not happened before I wouldn't doubt it got lost in the mail, but I'm not so sure what happened to it this time. The flowers turned out absolutely beautiful though. When we changed our tables to rounds of 10 instead of 8 I left the budget the same and told her just make the centerpieces bigger and better and that's what she did.

Cost: $1200 for 5 bouquets, 13 bouts, flower heads for the FG, 13 large centerpieces, 20 small centerpieces and flowers for the cake.
A++++ ~~ LOVE HER! She works out of her house so she's very affordable and she has great ideas and has been a HUGE help in the planning. All of the bouquets, boutineers, and coursages turned out better than I hoped for and the centerpieces were stunning. She also kept me very informed about flower prices and had lots of color samples for me to choose from. Can't say enough good things about her!

Flowers by Emily

A ~~ Emily used to work for a florist, but is starting out on her own. I mostly communicated w/ her thru email. After booking her, I gave her a list of everything I wanted and pics of what I had in mind. We met w/ her the next time we were in town to go over the list. She's very nice and easy to work w/. She let me change a few minor things last minute w/ no problems. She showed up when I asked to help w/ setting up. All I really needed her to do was put the flowers on the cake and get the centerpiece flowers in the vases. She did them like I wanted them. I loved my bouquet and loved carrying it. All the other flowers were as I asked them to be. The pins she gave us for the bouts were very long and had a crystal thingy at the end to be decorative. I wish she would've stayed to help us w/ that, since we didn't understand how they were supposed to be used. I never actually got to see her the day-of but I loved everything and we didn't have any problems. The type of flowers I used were white daisies, yellow roses & blue hydrangea and our total cost was $600.
From: i_heart_james
A+ ~~ I couldn't have been happier with Emily! The flowers ended up being purple instead of blue like she had explained, but it really didn't matter to us and they all looked so good! All of the centerpieces and many of the bouquets were donated to a hospice care facility and still looked awesome! I had my bouquet in our bedroom until we left for our honeymoon, 1 week later, and they were still blooming! The flower smelled awesome and looke great all night!

From: mothchick
Originally I wanted to do flowers online and keep the costs low. However, when I looked at Emily's costs I realized that the price difference was very minimal. I loved my flowers, I'm so glad I didn't do them myself because it really allowed me to keep from stressing out. Emily did a fabulous job and was great to work with.

B ~~ A little torn on what grade to give her - she was soooo nice and so helpful! I rented my linens from her - CHEAP!!! She showed up right on time and nothing was set up at the site yet, so she graciously waited to set up the linens and centerpieces. My flowers were very pretty - especially the centerpieces. But, I was a little unhappy with the bouquets. I thought I was getting light pink hydrangeas but ended up with dark pink that actually looked a little purple. I also was supposed to have light pink flufffy astilbe - which isn't cheap - it was in all the bouquets and bouts and it looked really yellow and dead. I cut it all out of my bouquet and off the comb for my hair. She did a wonderful job with adding the pink feathers I wanted and adding the pink bumblebees. The bear grass around my bouquet was a little too much and I wanted pink crystals and got pink rhinestones - big difference to me.
I probably should have had her show me what she would use first since I am so picky... The bear grass on some of the corsages and bouts broke. 1 of the wrist corsages broke in the first few minutes. DH mentioned that most of the bouts broke, but I didn't see this first-hand to know what happened. I also wanted pink button mums and they were not at all what I expected they'd look like - once again - they looked a little dead. My throw bouquet fell apart when we picked it up off the table. It was $10 and it was just a few flowers thrown together and tied - but very ugly. I have to give her credit for working so well with my crazy ideas. I absolutely hate roses, tulips, peonies, ranaculous? - and she was sooooo nice helping me finding something that I would like. Everyone complimented me on how beautiful the flowers were - but they didn't know my original vision to compare them to either. Overall, everything was beautiful and I wouldn't use anyone else if I had the chance. She is sooo sweet and was so good at answering my email questions quickly! I would definitely recommend her. We only wanted to spend around $700 or $800 and she kept the cost a little over $500 and then the cost of linens added to that... She used hydrangea, astilbe, phlox, godetia, and button mums - with bear grass surrounding and pink feathers.

They were GORGEOUS!! It was a great deal. I got 250 roses, for $160 (including shipping and tax). They showed up via Fed Ex the day before the wedding before 10am. We put them in water and let them open overnight, and they were arranged the next day. The colored roses were gorgeous and held up very well. I can't say the same for the ivory ones (but they're ivory roses in Missouri's July heat...I didn't expect much, and they were a very minor portion of our floral pieces).
From: missmlt
I used globalrose.com, and theflowerexchange.com. I did all of the arranging myself. I had all roses and wanted hand tied bouquets, so I decided to do it on my own. I LOVED how my bouquets turned out. The roses were beautiful and lasted forever. I got the roses from global rose. I did hot pink, medium pink and light pink for my bouquet, and hot pink for all of the bridesmaids.

My MIL and SIL did the bouts and corsages. They did an excellent job as well. I ordered rose petals from the flower exchange. They came on time and looked great. The only hitch is that one day before the roses were set to ship, global rose calls to tell me that due to constant rain in ecudor they can't get the specific variety I requested, so they gave me some options and I picked new varieties. I was freaked out about it at first, but it all turned out ok. Everything looked great and I was able to use fresh roses everwhere, which I never would have been able to do money wise if I was using a florist.

I was a little weary about booking with HyVee due to some bad reviews but I also know that service varies from store to store. Our experience was VERY positive! Our flowers were gorgeous!!! More than I ever expected and exactly what I wanted. Our consultant was Debbie – she listened to what I said and then gave suggestions based on her professional experience. Sunflowers are very expensive so she suggested ways to get around using sunflowers for everything and it really was gorgeous! Also, we got a 5% discount on our flower price b/c we also booked our cake there.

Susan Ludwick
A ~~ We loved Susan. She's this funny, skinny, older lady but she knows her flowers! We walked in with just a vague idea of what we wanted-roses-but by the end of the meeting we had picked out a beautiful color that would pop against the BM dresses and beautiful arrangements within our budget. For $630 we got 6 BM boquets, my boquet, toss boquet, 4 GM bouts, DH's bout, 2 corsages for moms, 2 bouts for dads, box of FG petals, RB bout (with a safety pin, how cute:), ribbon/bows tied to the gazebo, and 15 centerpieces (we provided the vases, beads, and Holiday Inn provided the mirrors). I thought this was a darn good deal for all the flowers. She even surprised us with a cute centerpiece on our sweetheart table (we had forgotten to even include this, whoops) She was punctual and easy to work with!

A++ ~~ I LOVED MY BOUQUET!!! Okay, that being said, Maggies Attic beyond exceeded my expectations! They normally do not do weddings, but we had heard of them because my MIL/MIL are members of their wine club. Since our flowers were simple -- just bouquets, boutinners, corsages and flower petals -- they had no problem doing our wedding. I was a little nervous about it at first because at times they were hard to nail down with an exact list of what I was getting. But, as the wedding got closer and I think they got a new program, I got a very detailed list and the prices were unbelieveable! For under $500 I got: an all rose bouquet made with yellow and circus (my fav flower, the yellow rose with red tips) roses, 3 BM bouquets, 5 corsages, 11 boutineers and a TON of flower petals. All the flowers were roses or “miniture” roses (I can’t think of their real name right now) I am still in awe of how beautiful my bouquet was! The flowers were delievered exactly at noon, even though we were told between noon and 1 -- it was perfect! I cannot say enough about how great Anita was and I would highly recommend them for any flower needs! Although, I caution again, they normally don’t do weddings!

From: lesary
B+ ~~ Kelly is the nicest person you will ever meet. I clicked with her immediately. I didn't really know what I wanted when we first started so she really helped me create a look that would match up the design of our wedding. The day of-the flowers looked great! My only disappointment was many of the flowers were smashed and wilted by the ceremony. The guys flowers were really tiny and fragile. Some of the other flowers in my bouquet and the BM's were also brown and droopy by the ceremony. I wanted to preserve my bouquet, but it didn't make it to Monday (when I would have dropped it off).

Kelli and Ashley are really full service. They not only did my flowers, but they built my chuppah out of entirely birch branches/trunks, built my wishing tree out of birch and wheat, ordered my linens from BBJ and found fabulous ribbon. A+ ~~ Of course they were beautiful. Karyn helped coordinate and Erica did the running for the video camera for me. I loved my bouquet and can't wait to show pics. Erica helped design it. It was all white mini callas with big chunky crystals in it and little rhinestones. Highly recommend them.

A + ~~ I can’t really say enough about Karyn and her design team. She has been in business for a very long time so she has years of floral and event design experience. She came highly recommended by Longview Mansion having done countless weddings at that venue for many years. Sidelines won Small Business of the Year award from the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. We started working together very early on in the wedding planning process. I handed over fabric swatches, magazine clippings and e-mailed her pictures. One of the more in depth design projects she took on for my wedding was the draping/lighting of the new Pavilion tent at Longview Mansion. When it ended up being too expensive she allowed me to order the material and just charged me for labor. She ended up doing this same idea at a wedding at Longview and told me to come out to see it. I almost cried when I saw what she had done for the other bride. She is creative, innovative, caring and helpful. My color scheme and ideas kept morphing but for lack of a better term, she just “got it.” She “got” our wedding and the overall look I was trying to create. She transformed Longview Mansion into a fantasyland on our wedding day. It was exactly what I had always envisioned. She stayed all the way up until right before I walked down the aisle. She personally brought me my bouquet and I cried when I saw it. She went above and beyond. She was the other favorite vendor from my wedding. My friend who isn’t even engaged was already trying to book her, lol!

A ~~ The flowers looked exactly the way I wanted them too and she was so easy to work with and helped me come up with what I wanted. The only issue was the stephanotis, but that's the nature of the flower.

A ~~ To be honest my bouquet was better then I imagined! Now, my Bridesmaids flowers looked nothing like I thought they would. The up side to that is they were better then what I wanted! My only complaint was that when I got them from the church they weren’t keep in water and the BM’s were starting to discolor. That being said you could hardly tell; it was just me being picky.

Beverly was another vendor that made me feel at ease from the moment I met her. She had lots of information and ideas to help me figure out what exactly I wanted in the flowers. I was so excited to see the finished product and I was not disappointed! The bridesmaids bouquets were the perfect blend of ivory, pink, and green, and the perfect size. The bouts and corsages were just what I wanted, and the cake topper and petals for the reception site were beautiful. My bouquet was a work of art. Everyone made comments about how beautiful it was, even my photographer. My only complaint, it was SO heavy! I didn’t realize how many roses she would be using (over 30) or how much they would weigh. I had to keep passing the bouquet around so my arms could have a break. It was worth it though for the beautiful flowers, I loved it!

A+ ~~ Along with Steve Chick (my event planner), brought my vision to life (and brought tons of ideas that took my idea above and beyond anything I could have imagined). Did a variety of heights of vases on each table along with up-lighting since candles were prohibited at the museum. The bouquets and boutonničres were unlike anything I’d seen before (he used a type of grass to create a very architectural look along with the combination of flowers). After our initial meeting to discuss colors and flowers I like and dislike, Dan worked directly with Steve. I had total confidence in the two of them.

A+ I called the Tuesday before the wedding about getting rose petals to toss as we left the reception. Our florist was going to charge us the full price of buying dozens of roses and then tearing the petals off. Village Gardens gave me two huge bags for $43 including tax. It was enough to fill 200 petal cones and decorate all over Lake Quivira as well. Very helpful especially since I was calling late in the game. Also, we bought doilies for the petal cones at the dollar store-WAY cheaper than anywhere else I’d looked.
