A+ ~~ We rented a town car for one hour to take us from Lake Quivira to the Marriott, where we stayed after the reception. I think it was $75 including tax and gratuity and just as easy as renting a limo to take us.
Carey Transporation
A ~~ We rented a limo-bus from Carey to take us from the church to the reception. This was one of the only places we found that would let us rent the limo for less than 3 hours. They were there on time, the bus was immaculate and fully stocked with ice and glasses. The driver even stopped at a liquor store on the way to the reception since the guys thought they needed more beer.

Clique Limo
D- ~~ Very unsatisfied with my service. Owner sent nasty email and phone message, but then apologized via email when he found out about my service. (Driver also didn't have directions that I sent the company 2-3 weeks ahead of time and drove like a crazy person with the wedding party.) Said he fired the driver on Monday, but didn't offer refund for time we lost after the driver left over a half an hour earlier than plans had indicated. Don't recommend unless you're willing to get what you paid for.

Trolley
A ~~ Great transportation option for a ton of people. The trolley was lots of fun!
A ~~ Well obviously we didn't ride the charter buses out to Powell Gardens, but from what we heard from guests, the trip was smooth and everyone was on time!! We loaded coolers of water, soda, and beer onto the buses for guests which was a big hit, and they played cds for us that my dad had made of fun wedding music! It sounded like a fun party bus to us!! Would recommend them!
A ~~ After the chaos with Johnson County limo, we were so excited that we found a company that was straight forward with us, willing to book right away (and not put us off because of a prom), and was EXTREMELY affordable (compared to any limos we looked at). The driver was prompt, very personable and even took time to go on side streets to avoid a major traffic tie up that we were afraid would set us back on how much time we had to take pictures. The company was extremely easy to work with.
2008 Cost -- ~$675 for four hours of service on a trolley
B+ ~~ The trolley was on time, it was air-conditioned and it was fun. They get a B+ because they told me they were going to give me a driver with Lawrence/KU experience (they offered, I didn't ask), and my DH and his groomsman ended up having to give him directions to get around

A ~~ The trolley showed up on time, and went everywhere we requested (although the driver wasn’t too sure how to Loose Park, which I thought was weird). But I loved the trolley and it was so fun driving around in it. People were honking and waving at us, and the day was beautiful for a trolley ride. DH and I stood on the back part the whole time, and Isabel and Thet kept leaning out of their car to snap pictures of us – it was great!
Extreme Limo

D- ~~ We used their stretch H1 limo and I would rate them a D for two main reasons. We specifically asked that the not pull in the round right outside the church, instead the crosswalk out about 30 feet out so that we could run to the vehicle. They did not. And 2 because the air conditioning was BROKE. This was a HOT June day and we were all SOAKED. I'm extremely upset about that as good money was paid and we were drenched before we got to the reception. We did, however, get a partial refund from them.
We used Executive Limo for the 16 passenger limo coach and have nothing but great reviews. They were easy to work with, quick to respond, on time the day of the wedding, and came with a clean vehicle on the inside and out! Riding in the limo coach might have been the most fun we (along with the bridal party) had all day.
A ~~ We rented a limo bus for the wedding party. They were on time, everything was clean, the drivers were friendly! Would highly recommend!
Girls Night Out Limo
A+ ~~ Great! For $275 we got 3 hours in a limo bus. The bus was clean and everyone fit perfectly. There were 16 of us and our cooler.
A ~~ I've used GNO limo a few times before for girls nights out. They have always been very friendly and flexible. When I was first looking for a limo company for my wedding I didn't know they had the Lincoln Navigator so I was looking at other companies until I ran into them at one of the bridal fairs. I booked them for 3 hours to drive us around Leavenworth to take pictures. Dave, our driver was very flexible and even took us to McDonalds! The limo was nice and clean and everything went great. I highly recommend GNO limo.
F ~~ (Limo Not Used) I was extremely upset with this company. We originally wanted to have a limo bus since we had a lot of time between our wedding and reception. Their rates online were very affordable, and we contacted them and they said they were available on our date. But, they were in the process of buying a new limo bus and wanted us to wait to book it until we had seen it. Fast forward over 2 months later, and they finally had purchased the new limo bus. We went out to see it and the owner hemmed and hawed around and pretty much told us that they couldn't do much for us because if they did the transportation for our wedding they would not be able to do a prom that night as well (after we told them we would be flexible with our times to make it so they could). We were disappointed and upset that we were told that although we had money and were ready to book that we would have to wait and see how prom bookings would go. I was mad that they strung us out for more than 2 months and were wanting to have us wait to book it for 2 or 3 more.
Rich and Alyson are truly some of the most amazing people that we have ever met. The percherons that they drive are so beautiful! This is one of the best things that we had at our wedding. We arrived in style definitely and received a standing ovation!

Hertz
We could not bring ourselves to pay for a limo to drive us 10 minutes down the road, from church to hotel. And we weren’t leaving the hotel after the reception, so we didn’t need it for then either! We decided to rent a fun car and drive ourselves from the church to the hotel, and then use it to drive ourselves to the airport in the morning! DH called Hertz and got us a white Mustang convertible! It was so much fun!!! We didn’t keep the top down, just for some pics – but it really was a good time! And it made it so easy to get to the airport in the morning!! We enjoyed the 10 mins of alone time in the car together between ceremony and reception!

A+ ~~ We rented the trolley to take us from the church out to Lake Quivira. They were on time, the driver was very nice, and even made a stop for us at the liquor store to buy some extra champagne. They didn’t have any restrictions on what we could bring on the bus, so we had a couple of coolers and the champagne. It was a really fun way for our wedding party to mellow-out before the reception.
B ~~ We hired a school bus to transport guests from the reception to the after party. Kool Nites was there on time and there were no problems in getting everyone on the bus. However, they failed to tell DH when he paid the deposit that we had to pay the balance that night in cash. We had a check for the remainder, and they wouldn’t accept it. The driver made it very clear that “the bus doesn’t move until I got paid.” We got off the bus to find our parents to see if they had cash (we had NONE), and while we were gone our bridal party took up a collection. It was irritating and embarrassing, but luckily by that point we were too excited and happy to care that much.
Slawik is wonderful to work with! We had the beautiful ruby red stretch limousine for our ride home after the reception. Red carpet service, champagne, mini bar...great driver!
A+ ~~ The limo arrived on time and drove us around for about 2 hours to take pictures before the ceremony. I wish I could remember our driver’s name because he was fantastic. He was so good about helping me with my dress and holding my flowers when I was getting in/out of the limo (better then my DH, ha!). The limo was clean and looked great.
A+++ ~~ We had their Bentley pick us up at the chapel and take us to Embassy Suites and it was amazing!!! It was soooo awesome and so different and elegant. They had champagne and a red carpet waiting for us! As my dad put it best, we looked like royalty driving away! :)
Limo and Bentley
B ~~ This is the one thing I sort of regretted. It sounded like a great idea, but when it was all said and done, I don't think it was worth the $240 for one hour we spent on it- which is not Pech's fault. No one saw us leave it and no one saw us arrive in it. We did get some cool pictures, so maybe after I see those I will change my mind. Our driver was nice, but also kinda weird. He recited a Shakespeare sonnet to us? You can rent a C-Class Mercedes for $125 for a whole weekend from Enterprise. Just FYI.

We had a Bentley come at 3:00 p.m. for picture taking purposes. The driver was so nice (I think his name was Bruce). He really went above and beyond what he was supposed to do. You see, I had my heart set on taking pictures at the historic Pergola which is kind of falling apart and there is really no good way for cars to get in there. That didn’t matter to him. He was going to try his hardest to get us there. First he gave us some ice cold champagne and we were on our way. There was a Road Closed sign, which he broke the law to move so we could get through. Eventually we scouted out the best way to get down there without getting stuck in the mud and we were able to get awesome pictures thanks to him. He came back at 11:00 p.m. to pick us up and take us to our hotel for the night. He was really nice and seemed very happy to be doing his job. I highly recommend using Pech for your transportation.
C ~~ So I know a lot of people had great experiences with Pech, but here's my story: We rented 2 limos for 1.5 hours. They were supposed to pick us up at the hotel, drive us to the ceremony, wait til it was over (ceremony was ~20 mins), drive us around for 15 or 20 mins to give the guests a chance to get the reception, and then take us back to the hotel (reception location). Well, they arrived at the hotel on time and the drivers were very nice, but there was no champagne (part of the package) and when the ceremony was over, they said they had to take us back to the hotel immediately because they had another party to pick up...wtf? At this point in time we had only been with them for about 50 minutes. Afterwards, we got a partial refund (for the 1/2 hour we didn't use), and it wasn't a huge deal, but it was annoying just the same. On the plus side, they were very affordable and the white limos were pretty.
A+ ~~ We had a towncar take us from the ceremony to the reception and a limo take us home at the end of the night (it was important to DH). The drivers were on time and so friendly. The limo driver even took us around the plaza for a little while so we could really enjoy our time together in the limo. The only problem was that the towncar driver was not in the right spot where we had discussed with them (although it ended up being where we needed him because we were at that location taking pictures, so it worked out perfectly).
A+ ~~ All our requests were fulfilled and he even arrived 30 minutes early per our last minute request. He got us to the hotel safely, so I have no complaints!
I loved the car and the driver was so nice and took us for a nice drive around the plaza. I love the car- a 1953 Bentley. People kept honking at us and waving. I felt like a rockstar!
A+ ~~ We had the red 6 passenger limo for the ride from the church to the reception. We loved it! We drove around for a bit to enjoy our bottle of champagne and bask in the newness of being married! Our driver was so nice and friendly. I highly recommend Pech.
Tess Limo
B- ~~ I have nothing against this company itself. The owner is really nice and he gave us a great discount for paying in full. The Navigator limo itself was beautiful and clean, but I think the driver we had had something up his ass. The wasn't rude, he just had some male PMS going on. Note to brides thinking about getting a giant limo in the summer — the bigger the limo, the longer it takes to cool down. It was damn hot in there.
