A ~~ Strange how I found her. This was not something I had even considered doing until 2 1/2 weeks before the wedding and I told myself if she was booked I wouldn't even try to find someone else. Another bride who used the KC person and did not get her pics used Heather for videography and raved about her. When I heard her price I couldn't believe it. We got our wedding ceremony and 2 hours of our reception for $450!! I am so glad we got her because by the time we got to the reception, the candy buffet was practically gone and we didn't get pics of it. It was so fun to see things that were going on before we got there. Only thing she missed was the bouquet toss, but honest mistake and I am thrilled with the video. Again, not an expense I would have taken on but it was such a great price and I have it to relive forever!

Justin was excellent to work with! Very professional, and also fun. Our highlight video was delivered via email before we returned from our honeymoon and the DVD copies arrived within a day or two. Here's what's on our DVD: a one-song highlight video from the entire day (also available online); our entire ceremony with great sound quality, taped with 2 cameras (I love being able to listen to our vows); additional highlights from the 8-hour taping (reception, getting-ready, group photos, etc). Good stuff. Good price. I'd highly recommend him.

A+ ~~ Growing up Slideshow ~~ Complete Video is owned by Complete Music. I wasn't "expected" to use this service but after shopping around they had the best deal for what I was wanting. We had 2 manned cameras during the ceremony and 1 the rest of the time. We should get the video by Christmas and I can't wait to see it. With our package we got the growing up slide show where you give them pics of you growing up and they put it in a slide show and put it to music. They did a great job with the slideshow and even gave us a copy of it at the end of the reception. I honestly didn't really notice the cameramen, they did a great job of staying "out of the way" but still getting the shots they needed to get. As of right now I recommend Complete Video but more detailed review will come when I get the video.

*Grade Pending ~~ He looked like he was getting the job done. He called the day before to go over details with me. He arrived early to set up. If he had problems, I didn't notice. Our video is pending.

A+ ~~ Our video is beautiful. It made DH and I cry the first time we watched it! I’m so glad to have something to remember the day. Jereme is great to work with and very helpful.

A+ ~~ Obviously I haven’t seen the end result yet but I’m confident Jereme will have both of us bawling from beginning to end of the video. Jereme seems like a really amazing person. He is young and has fresh ideas for his clients. He knows his stuff when it comes to technology and we were so impressed by his professionalism. Jereme was at the Mansion when I arrived around 2:00 p.m. and started filming immediately. His style isn’t obtrusive and to tell you the truth, I forgot he was there. Although he did approach me once before I got undressed to ask me if I felt comfortable to have him in the room. I thought that was nice of him. He brought his fiancé along who took some still pictures for the video. I really can’t wait to see it. The slideshow he made was perfect and made everyone cry and laugh at the same time. We showed it right after dinner was served and it was the perfect length. I highly recommend him. The prices went up after I booked and I imagine, with how good he is and the fact that word is spreading fast, that they’ll go up again soon. Book him!

Tentative A ~~ Again, haven’t seen the results, so a little to early to say! But, working with him was great! The only reason he’s not an A+ is because I was told there would be 2 cameras at the ceremony. Here’s the thing -- I don’t know if there were or not! Once I see the video, I will let you know! It didn’t say if 1 was going to be unmanned and one with a person, so there is a chance there was one I just never saw! Again, I will update this review once I see the video! But, he had great prices and was great to work with! I especially liked that even though I had a time limit, he asked before leaving and when he was packing up and saw that my parents were dancing together (for the first time all night) he unpacked to catch it on tape first!

Two camera men from 8-9am on the day of the wedding until 10-11pm at night, for about $500 (though prices may have changed) They gave us 5 DVDs of our wedding-one for ourselves and the rest to give out as gifts. The sent us a rough copy before giving us the finished on in case there was anything we didn't like. They are all about making the customer happy. Absolutely awesome!!

A+ (day of) / B (video) ~~ I originally didn't want a videographer and didn't change my mind about it until less than a month before the wedding. Even then I didn't want a whole lot from the wedding video -- primarily I just wanted someone to film the ceremony for my grandparents, who were unable to attend. Brian agreed to work within my budget for filming my ceremony, and even generously offered to attend the reception and film the "highlights" (cake, bouquet/garter tosses, etc). He was absolutely fabulous the day of the wedding! He was prompt, he was very friendly and laid back, and when the camera wasn't rolling, he was willing to step right up and offer his help -- playing go'fer, messenger, or anything else he saw a need for. The video included everything we agreed on -- some pre-wedding footage, the ceremony, and reception highlights. The only problem I had with the video is that much of the wedding is very difficult to hear. He had a mic on my husband, so my husband's vows are clear and mine are reasonably clear, but we had to turn the volume on the TV up very high to hear the pastor. I think it would have been better if I had worked with him a little more to make sure we had adequate sound feeds.

A ~~ Working with Peter was a little bit of a splurge, but it was DH's only request. It was also important to us, because we were having a second, larger reception, so we wanted to be able to share our day with our extended guest list. Peter is definitely Type A. He sent us a worksheet to help him figure out important aspects of the day and details. He is SOOO quiet and I barely knew he was there. I haven't seen our film yet, but he was great the day of and in our meetings with him.

F ~~ PLEASE DON'T do your video through this company. We worked w/ Sandy and she was great up until the week before our reception when she cancelled on us!!! She said that gas prices were too high and that she was sending a guy in for her replacement...he looked like a teenager!!! She was 2 weeks late on getting us the DVD, and it was AWFUL!!! I understand that things can be late, but let a sista know. I had to call her everytime and see what was going on. Thank goodness for friends with editing skills, otherwise, I'd have to strangle her! DON'T RECOMMEND!

A+ ~~ I know I may be a little biased since he is my brother-in-law, but I had no clue how good he really is. He quickly put together a highlight music video, plus the footage from the ceremony to play at the reception. There were lots of tears in the crowd while it was being played! Editing is his favorite part of it all, and it shows. He’s got all sorts of cool tricks he uses. We, of course, got the “family discount”, but from what I hear from other knotties, his prices are extremely reasonable. For such a young guy, he has tons of talent! (Page me for phone number.)

B ~~ Derek is very new to the business; mine was only his second wedding. He is excellent at editing and getting interesting shots. I love the way my video is put together, very artistic. He is by himself still so if you do 2 camera video one will be static and he will be moving with the other camera. He also doesn't do the full microphone treatment that some other videographers do. He is however much cheaper that those multi-person, companies that use mics, which was why I hired him.
He is not, however "in tune" with what the needs of a bride are yet...I think that will come in time. We had discussed him staying at the reception to catch all the major happenings. However he left before the Father/Daughter dance, bouquet toss, garter toss, or before anyone really started dancing. I was upset that I don't have video of my dad and I dancing. So if you use him make sure to be very specific as to what you are looking for. He does excellent work, but is new so just make sure you know that going in.

We haven’t gotten our video back yet, so I’ll post another review when we do. Drew and Selena were so easy to work with and we barely noticed that they were there so I’m sure they captured a lot of great, natural images.

Day of: B ~~ He was constantly in our faces and set his tripod up right in front of the altar which ended up in a lot of our ceremony shots. Also, when James sang to me he was so close to me that I couldn't actually see James. Post-wedding: C(so far) ~~ We still haven't seen any of our video. It has been almost 2 months and I have heard from him once. I have written several emails and he finally called to talk about us picking music for the two montages in the video. I was working and told him to please call my husband b/c he would be picking out the music and he never called back (either of us). I am still trying to get a hold of him to see the rough footage (since he still isn't done editing) so we can decide on music.
